Alcoholemy

Experience a medieval rogue-lite through the blurry eyes of the local drunk who has concocted a scheme to sneak ( or shamble) through the castle to pilfer the king of Hahngovr's treasury. 

You play as Scrump, the local village drunk who has become the newest member of a local gang of thieves operating out of Scrumps favorite tavern. 

Due to Scrumps heightened tolerance to alcohol, he needs increasingly potent beverages to quench his thirst. However, these drinks have side effects that provide him with unnatural abilities.

Drunkenness 

Alcohol is your friend! Being drunk provides you with useful effects, the drunker you are the faster you can move, however, your vision becomes impaired. Alternatively, the soberer you are the slower you will move. Carefully balance your alcohol intake to stay on track!

Environments 

Infiltrate various locations across the land of Hanhgovr, and steal a wealth of items while you're at it!

The Kings Goons

Did you think your antics would go unnoticed? did you think no one would oppose you? The guards of Hanhgovr have been dealing with the likes of petty thieves for years, and have been well conditioned towards their antics. Guards will not tolerate trespassers for any reason, so keep out of sight. Be sure to start running if they spot you, and make sure to avoid being captured.

However, the guards in the kingdom of Hanhgovr are jumpy at best, and easily distracted by the slightest noise. Luckily Scrump has a good arm on him, and can quite easily lob an empty bottle to lure away guards from their posts.

Crafting

The brewing of illegal alcohol is rife in Hanhgovr, and common practice in most establishments (allegedly of course). Now Scrumps not much of an alchemist, he doesn't really have a clue, but he can try his hand at the art when an alcoholemy table is present.

Try out different combinations of ingredients, all of which will contribute to making a unique drink that will empower Scrump with a plethora of different effects.
